Old Faithfull, Hot Springs ... Thursday ...

Its time to turn in for the night. After a wonderful day of hot springs and geysers, bison, a long Yellowstone Traffic Jam, "meese", geese and elk, and lots of hot hot sun, I'm ready to call it a day. Just a few pictures for you today, though I could post a couple hundred .... If you want more pics, let us know!

See the steam in the background, between the river and the mountains? That's from a hot spring or geyser!! These blue flowers, along with many others, grew out of the barren, hard rock formed by the hot springs. That isn't snow, but the hot springs ..

Emily, don't apologize for posting pictures (if you want to and have time). They bring back pleasant memories of our visit there a number of years ago. I enjoy your perspective of the tiny flowers and swirling colors of the springs and boiling mud pots. I think Dave has captured some spectacular shots too. Keep it up!
